that believes Jesus is God’s “Yes” to us and our lives can be a “Yes” to others.

The “Yes” of Jesus Christ compels and empowers us to be open and accessible within any community, within any context. We roll up our sleeves and get to work doing God’s work in our community and in the world. We pursue justice and seek peace no matter how long the journey or wide the chasm.

Worship and Music

Worship stands at the center of our life of faith. Through God’s word, water, bread and prayer we are nurtured in faith and sent out into the world. Volunteers, serving as Assisting Ministers, Ushers, Readers, Choir Members, and Altar Guild Members, prepare the worship space and participate in services.

Evangelism & Outreach

Volunteers are responsible for outreach with Word and ministry for service to others within the community of faith and the broader Door County community. Here you might find a place to serve with the Connections ministry by bringing Christ's love to those who are homebound or in need of a listener, the Helping Hands ministry by providing meals, Habitat for Humanity by providing shelter or the Prayer Circle by supporting others through prayer.  A Welcome Team connects with new members.

Established to support and enhance effective communications both within our congregation and with the outside community, the task is to provide information about ministry activities, successes, and participation opportunities through projects such as the website, membership directory, displays, newsletter, and announcements.  From an outside community perspective, we aim to tell people who our church is and what we are doing.

Volunteers work to maintain and improve our building, grounds, and equipment in order to provide a welcoming space for all who come to worship.

Special events featuring food and fun strengthen and unite our community of faith.

Christian Education

We are born to hear God’s word. The texts we hear, discuss, repeat, and wrestle with are truly the Spirit of God reaching out to us at every moment in our lives. Christian education leaders plan ways to engage people of all ages in a life of discipleship grounded in scripture. This ministry is responsible for Sunday School, Confirmation, and Adult experiences in this quest.

The Church Council

is a group of seven persons elected by the members of the congregation to provide leadership, along with the Pastor, to the various ministries supported by this community of faith, and to be responsible for financial and property matters on behalf of the congregation.

For further information about any of the following activities, contact information, or if you would like to help,  please call the church office.
